Common Ground worked from concept through to delivery on the New Brighton Village Green, partnering with the Greater New Brighton Community Group to help realise a community-led vision for the heart of Brighton Mall. The project transforms a central site into a flexible, welcoming civic space — incorporating open lawn, performance infrastructure, market and event facilities, and adaptable gathering areas designed to support everyday use as well as programmed activity. Acting as both catalyst and connector, the Village Green strengthens local identity, encourages enterprise, and provides a resilient, people-focused public space for New Brighton’s evolving future.
